Stable Value

Stable value products seek principal preservation and high current income, and are primarily used in defined contribution pension plans. Our portfolios are constructed using investment grade fixed income securities, including a proprietary strategy that employs broadly diversified indexed funds. Over a full interest rate cycle, we seek to outperform "money fund" products (intended for retail investors) while maintaining similar volatility of returns.

Standish's Stable Value investment capabilities include:

Strategy Strategy Objective
Separate Account Strives to preserve principal and current income through various interest rate environments while maintaining daily book value liquidity for all plan participants. A disciplined process that uses broadly diversified indexed funds and fundamental analysis to minimize credit risk.
Commingled Fund Strives to preserve principal and current income through various interest rate environments while maintaining daily book value liquidity for all plan participants. A disciplined process that uses broadly diversified indexed funds and fundamental analysis to minimize credit risk.

*We typically provide stable value management on a discretionary basis, but can also be retained in a consulting capacity to provide pertinent information on all aspects of a stable value portfolio. In cases where we act only as consultant, the client retains full discretionary authority over all investments. There can be no assurance these objectives can be met.
